Overview
McFly World shipped its own public portfolio hub at mcflyworld.com/portfolio as a living reference for how we document engagements: a structured index (web, marketing, software), long-form case pages with consistent sections (context, approach, proof, handover themes), and CTAs aligned to quote, services, and sector lenses.
This is our “meta” delivery — the same engineering and SEO discipline we apply to client properties, applied to the corporate proof-of-work surface buyers use before NDA.
Business problem
- Procurement and founder buyers needed more than a logo grid: they wanted engagement shapes, constraints, stack thinking, and measurement language without waiting for a custom deck.
- The site had to balance anonymised patterns with a clear live reference (e.g. disclosed client work) so diligence could triangulate credibility.
- Organic and on-site discovery required a hub that linked deeply into case studies and outward into service lines without duplicate or thin URL sprawl.
Constraints & compliance
- Corporate legal posture: claims must align with published terms, buyer protection, and refund copy — no inflated metrics on the index.
- Many case studies maintained from code and seeders — the HTML pattern had to stay maintainable (renderer + definitions), not one-off pages that drift.
- Performance and accessibility expectations match the rest of the marketing site (CWV-aware templates, readable hierarchy, mobile-first navigation).
Approach
We designed the portfolio index with section anchors, breadcrumbs, canonical URLs, and dynamic engagement counts so the hub stays honest as new cases ship.
Case study bodies use a shared renderer (telemetry bars, stack, internal links, register-call) so every deep page feels procurement-grade and SEO-consistent.
Internal linking ties each case to relevant services, packages, and adjacent patterns so crawlers and humans both see the capability map.
Programme telemetry
Delivery health indicators for the portfolio programme itself — representative benchmarks for IA, template parity, and cross-linking. We do not publish unaudited Search Console snapshots for the corporate hub here; serious buyers reconcile measurement in steering packs.
