SEO Specialist / Growth Analyst

Key responsibilities

  • Run technical SEO audits: crawlability, indexation, canonicals, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and log analysis where available.
  • Monitor Google Search Console (and Bing Webmaster) for coverage, enhancements, manual actions, and query/page performance.
  • Define and validate structured data (JSON-LD) opportunities; coordinate implementation with developers and verify in rich-result testing tools.
  • Drive on-page optimisation: title/meta patterns, heading structure, internal linking, content gap analysis, and cannibalisation checks.
  • Produce keyword clusters, content briefs, and editorial calendars aligned to funnel stages and client capacity.
  • Support Core Web Vitals and page experience improvements with concrete tickets for engineering (LCP, INP, CLS).
  • Build dashboards and monthly/quarterly reports: visibility, traffic quality, conversions, and narrative for executives.
  • Stay current with search engine documentation and major algorithm updates; communicate impact without alarmism.
  • Coordinate with paid media and social on shared landing pages, tracking, and messaging consistency.
  • Maintain audit trails, change logs, and recommendations prioritised by impact/effort for each client.

Requirements & qualifications

  • 2+ years hands-on SEO for commercial websites (in-house or agency).
  • Strong grasp of how search engines crawl, render, and index modern sites.
  • Experience with Search Console, Analytics (GA4), and at least one crawl tool (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or similar).
  • Ability to write clear specs for developers and QA acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent English: slide decks, email updates, and workshop facilitation when needed.
  • Ethical, guidelines-aligned approach — no manipulative or risky tactics.

Nice to have

  • International/hreflang programmes, large e-commerce or programmatic SEO.
  • SQL, BigQuery, or Looker Studio for advanced reporting.
  • JavaScript rendering issues, edge SEO, or headless/composable stacks.
