SEO & SMO Specialist

You bridge organic search and social channels — ensuring profiles, posts, and site content reinforce each other. You work with content creators, designers, and developers on implementation.

We focus on accountable execution and ethical growth — not guaranteed rankings or vanity metrics alone.

Key responsibilities

  • Run technical and on-page SEO audits; prioritise fixes with clear developer-ready tickets.
  • Manage Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster: coverage, enhancements, and performance reporting.
  • Develop organic social strategies: content pillars, posting cadence, hashtags, and community guidelines per brand.
  • Optimise social profiles, bios, link-in-bio flows, and cross-linking with key site pages.
  • Create keyword clusters and content briefs aligned to search intent and social shareability.
  • Coordinate structured data, meta templates, and internal linking with the web team.
  • Track rankings, impressions, engagement, and referral traffic; report trends with recommended actions.
  • Support Core Web Vitals and page experience improvements with engineering.
  • Stay current on algorithm and platform updates; communicate impact without alarmism.
  • Maintain change logs and recommendation backlogs per client with impact/effort prioritisation.

Requirements & qualifications

  • 2+ years combined SEO and organic social media experience for commercial brands.
  • Search Console, Analytics (GA4), and at least one crawl tool (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or similar).
  • Experience growing LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube organically (platform depth in at least one).
  • Ability to write specs for developers and acceptance criteria for QA.
  • Excellent English for reports, briefs, and client updates.
  • Ethical, guidelines-aligned approach — no manipulative or risky tactics.

Nice to have

  • Paid social collaboration experience (hand-off to media team).
  • International/hreflang or multi-location brands.
  • Short-form video SEO (YouTube, Reels) and social listening tools.
